The latest contact lens technologies to give you the best vision

Our optometrists are experienced in fitting contact lenses for different eye shapes, prescriptions and visual goals – whether you are looking for occasional weekend wear to ace your golf, or everyday wear for work and studies, that give you freedom from wearing spectacles. Our leading contact lens expertise means that we are the first to trial new contact lens technologies in Australia, and  can offer solutions to your vision that you may not have had offered to you before. Have you been told you’re not suitable for contact lenses? Ask our experienced optometrists if one of our newer contact lens technologies are an option for you.

We offer the following contact lenses to correct myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness), astigmatism and presbyopia (near reading correction).

  • Soft Daily disposables
  • Soft Fortnightly
  • Soft Monthly
  • Rigid Gas Permeable
  • Orthokeratology

We have access to unique and revolutionary custom made soft contact lenses.

We are the first practice in Australia to offer Mark’ennovy contacts  which are fully customised to the shape of your eye, unlike other disposable lenses which are one-size-fits-most. If you have astigmatism or need multifocal lenses, and/or have had problems with standard disposable soft contact lenses, these could be your solution! Mark’ennovy also provide the only worldwide Blue Light protecting contact lenses, ideal for children and adults with heavy screen work demands.

We are one of the first Australian practices to also offer Naturalvue contact lenses; a daily disposable multifocal with unique optics that corrects far and near vision, and can be used for those with low levels of astigmatism.

We specialise in custom-made rigid (hard) lenses for eye conditions such as keratoconus, and moderate/high astigmatism, long and short-sightedness. These lenses are designed based on the shape of your eye measured with medical imaging including topography as shown below, to give you the best vision and comfort.

Hybrid contact lenses offer the visual clarity of a rigid (hard) lens, with the comfort of a soft contact lens because of its ‘soft skirt’. If you have a history of discomfort with rigid (hard) lenses, a Hybrid contact lens may be the solution for you.

We custom-make Orthokeratology lenses for correction of myopia, low levels of hyperopia and low/moderate levels of astigmatism. Orthokeratology provide clear vision without the need for spectacle or contact lens wear during the day. They gently reshape the front of your eye overnight to improve your vision, and the treatment is completely reversible when you stop wearing Orthok. Research shows Orthok slows myopia progression, so Orthok are often fit for children, adolescents as well as adults interested in the lifestyle benefits.  We also have myopia control soft contact lenses available.

Our optometrists often fit contact lenses for medical reasons, and have expertise in fitting contact lenses for keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, corneal transplants, dry eye, cosmetic contact lenses for eyes with scarring post-injury/surgery, iris colour asymmetry, pupil size asymetry and more. We work closely with ophthalmologists (eye surgeons), GPs and other health practitioners to provide optimum eye care and clear vision.
